In the fall of 2013, the SLU Cross Country teams qualified for nationals, but lacked the resources to send the entire team. As a fundraiser, I organized and supervised a ping pong tournament. This poster was designed as a promotional material for that event.
Poster created to promote the Underground, a University academic journal of undergraduate research, in the Fall of 2013. The process was designed to demonstrate the ease of getting student work out to the community. More information on the Underground can be found at blogs.stlawu.edu/theunderground
Based on the original "word" logo (which was designed in a very low size and quality), I recreated the logo, and produced a poster for the WORD studio, a campus writing center at St. Lawrence University. The "WORD" is actually an acronym for Writing, Oral communication, Research, and Design; thus, encompassing the many attrbutes the writing center can assist students with.
Hopefully at this point most people have heard of the LRA conflict and Joseph Kony, if not perhaps some research on the Lord's Resistance Army would prove beneficial. Invisible children is an organization dedicated to addressing international efforts to protect and recover the children and communities still being devastated by these human rights violations. As part of a SLU chapter, SLU Amnesty created an awareness week for public understanding and fundraising to assist in the effort. I created this poster to promote the showing of TONY, a documentary by Invisible Children, on campus. More information on Invisible Children can be found at invisiblechildren.com
Four different posters hung around St. Lawrence campus Fall 2013.
